Jamie McMurray teamed up with NFL 1st Round Draft Pick Melvin Gordon (RB, Univ. of Wisconsin) to co-host the Stars & Strikes Celebrity Bowling Classic held April 28 at Lucky Strike Chicago to kick off the 2015 NFL Draft Week.
Over 650 of our special guests enjoyed the Celebrity Bowling Classic, which was presented by McDonald’s and featured a sports memorabilia auction and celebrity athletes bowling to drive awareness and over S25,000 of funding for Ronald McDonald House Charities via the Jamie McMurray Foundation.
Stars & Strikes included a silent and live auction featuring sports memorabilia from NASCAR, NFL, MLB, PGA, NBA, Wisconsin Badgers and more.
Joining Jamie and Melvin on the red carpet were over several dozen top NFL Draft picks, including Melvin’s childhood friend and fellow 1st Round pick Trae Waynes. All were in town to attend the 2015 NFL Draft as guests of the NFL Players Association.
